Polyester covered sewing thread is a new high-grade productthat recently has become popular in Europe and America andhas great market potential. By taking the 13.12 tex×2 high-tenacity polyester covered sewing thread as an example, thearticle introduces the principle of each operation in the spinningprocess and main technical parameters. It points out that thewrapping quantity of the covering fiber to the core fiber hasgreat influence on the yarn quality and selecting the suitablecore yarn is also very important.
