摘要
对I_b型超新星的观测特性作了综合分析并编出它们的星表。利用沃尔夫-拉叶星的新星表对它们在银道面上和垂直银道面的分布作了分析,推导出它们的面密度,进而得出银河系内的总数约为2500颗。同时探讨了沃尔夫-拉叶星作为I_b型超新星的前身星的可能性。
The observational characteristics of I_b supernovae are summa- rized and the catalogue of I_b supernovae is compiled. The new catalogue of the Wolf-Rayet stars is used, their distributions both within and perpendic- u lar to Galactic plane are analysed, and their surface density obtained, the total number of Wolf-Rayet stars in the Galaxy is about 2500. It is possible that Wolf-Rayet stars are the progenitor of the I_b supernovae.
