Dual-mode blind equalization algorithm for multi-level QAM modulation based on Sign-CMA

在Sign-CMA算法基础上,提出了一种用于MQAM数字通信系统的双模式盲均衡算法。该算法克服了CMA算法稳态误差大的缺点,提高了Sign-CMA算法的收敛速度,并能纠正信道存在的相位旋转,实现载波恢复。

A new blind equalization algorithm based on Sign-CMA is proposed for multi-level QAM communication systems. The algorithm changed Sign-CMA from single modulus to multi modulus and operated in two modes. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the significant improvements in the convergence rates and the residual error after convergence compared with CMA and Sign-CMA. Especially, the algorithm can realize carrier recovery synchronous because its sensitive to channel phase error and frequency shift.
