OUTCOMES OF FREE GRAFTS OF FATTY TISSUE——A PRELIMINARY OBSERVATION

20只雌性Wistar大鼠盆腔的整块脂肪和小珠状脂肪植入和注入背部皮下。光镜下可见到两种形式的脂肪中,部分细胞坏死和囊肿形成,并随时间延长而加重。肉眼观察呈明显的体积和重量的缩减和囊肿形成。3周时尚未出现明显缩减,但6周时吸收明显,观察终期24周时仅存6.9％(整块植入)和21.l％(小珠状注入),后者明显优于前者(P<0.05)。

In 20 female adult rats (Wistar), fatty tissue was removed from pelvis and transplanted to underthe back skin, partly in blocks and partly as pearls Scattered necrotic foci and cystic changes werenoticed from 3 to 24 weeks after the operation. With the passage of time, both the necrotic foci andthe cysts tended to enlarge and the capsule grew thicker with fibrotic septa appearing here and therethough intact fatty cells were still to be seen by the end of the 24th week. The grafts were markedlyreduced in size after 6 weeks, at the end revealed remarkable reduction in size and weight of the fattygrafts together with cyst formation. Only 6.9% and 21.1% of original weight remained for block andfor pearl grafts respectively, with better result in the latter group (P<0.05), though the remainingtissue consisted largely of fibrotic tissue with only part of the fat left.
