Human Capital Investment of Female University Students: An Analysis

中国是世界上人力资源最丰富的国家 ,同时面临着人力资本稀缺的困境 ,大学生作为总人口中的一个组成部分对中国经济的增长有着积极的、显著的影响。只有把占大学生近半数的女大学生的能力建设与潜力的开发放在优先考虑的位置上 ,社会的可持续发展才能从根本实现。本文根据人力资本理论 ,分析了女大学生人力资本存量 ,探讨了女大学生人力资本投资的途径。

China is a country rich in human resources but ironically confronted with the shortage of human capital. Constituting a considerable portion in the nation's population, the university students can exert a remarkable and positive influence on the economic development. The capacity building and potential development of the female university students, who make up almost half the university student population, should be regarded as a matter of top priority in order to realize a sustainable social development.
