This paper summarizes the general configuration and functions of the automatic fire alarm system, the methods of
selection of the detectors, and the linkage control request of the equipment of the power station and the dam. It also analyzes
the features of the automatic fire alarm system of the left station and the dam of the Three Gorges Hydropower Plant.
