摘要 文章提出了一种新的基于三角形收缩的网格简化算法 ,并将其应用于含有大量三角面片的医学图像三维模型的简化。由于进行了精确的误差控制 ,经过简化 ,在显示质量没有明显降低的前提下 ,显示刷新速率大大提高 ,并且使得简化后的三维模型更适合于进一步的处理。该算法保持了模型的拓扑结构 。 This article gives a new mesh simplification algorithm based on triangle collapse. The algorithm is used in the simplification of medical image 3D model with millions of triangles, and good results are acquired. The algorithm presents precise error control and reduces the number of triangles greatly. The algorithm keeps the topology of the original model, which makes the algorithm more robust.
