In 2003, the economy of Hunan province kept smooth development, the industrial output, investment of fixed assets, import and export maintained rapid growth, the prospects of investors and consumers turned better, autonomous growth of micro-economy reinforced and the overall status has been in the best situation during recent years. A reasonable strategy and proposal are made to spur the continuous increasing of Hunan economy through the overview of Hunan economic operation status in year 2003 and the prospect of year 2004.
