Mandarin-speaking Children's Acquisition of Pronouns ——A Case Study of a Girl of 2 Years and 2 Months

摘要 通过对一名两岁零两个月小孩的代词习得做个案研究,运用调查观察法、数理统计法与逻辑分析法,其结果显示:一.理解能力的发展先于口头表达能力。二.单数代词的习得先于复数代词的习得。三.三人称单数代词的习得比第一人称、第二人称单数代词的习得要迟。 The study of English-speaking children's first language acquisition has been carried out like a raging fire in the past thirty years, but that of Mandarin-speaking children's early lexical development is just at the initial stage, still leaving the study of pronouns (including personal pronouns and demonstrative pronouns) untouched. This paper intends to find out some regular patterns on Mandarin-speaking children's pronoun acquisition with the case study of a girl of two years and two months, so as to arouse the attention of language researchers. The result shows that: Comprehension precedes production; the acquisition of singular pronouns goes before that of plural ones; the acquisition of third person singular pronouns goes after that of the first and second person singular pronouns.
