浅谈《红楼梦》判词的英译文对意象的处理

On the Images of the Translated Verdict Poems in A Dream of Red Mansion

由于思维方式、审美习惯、历史渊源及联想意义的差异,同样的事物对于不同语系的人来说体现的是不同的意象。本文从双关修辞的角度入手,分析了《红楼梦》判词和其英译文在意象方面的比较。

Due to the differences in the mode of thinking,appreciation tendency, historical origin and associative meanings,the same thing may be different images to people of dissimilar language families.From the angle of pun, this paper compares the images of the original verdict poem in Hongloumeng and those got through translation.
