摘要
客观派认为“中国英语”是客观存在,对立派认为“中国英语”的存在缺乏政治、社会和理论基础。由于对“中国英语”的定性缺乏同一性,使双方往往是在不同的前提下进行争论,对“中国英语”的采集也不是在同一个准则下进行。应从“语言使用”和“语言使用者”两个侧面对“中国英语”进行定性;应把国际通用英语与地域英语区别开来;应该明确在国际交往中英语言文化不是国际通用文化。
The Objective School holds that China English is objective, while the Counter- objective school argues that the establishment of China English lacks political,social and theoretical basis.Because of the absence of a consistent definition of China English,arguments of the two schools very often misfire and the data to support their arguments are not collected according to the same standard.It is necessary to define China English from angles of“ language use” and “ language users” ,to separate English as an international language from English as a regional language and to understand that in international communication,English culture is not international culture.
