The Great Wall Confronts the Magino Line——New Trends in Chinese Literary Creation in Europe

现当代欧洲华文文学传承着20世纪初留欧学人精英文化的传统,作者普遍文化素质高,起点高,属学者型"文化精英"。但人数少,也很分散,在欧洲本土强势文化壁垒下,只能处于边缘状态。不过这并不妨碍涌现出一批优秀的华文作家和不少华文经典作品。值得关注的是,上世纪80年代以后,来自中国内地的一批新移民作家群的出现,他们视野更开阔,题材更丰富,创作基调积极乐观,叙述方式更多种多样,是欧洲华文文学的新高点,显示欧洲华文文学在"万里长城"与"马其诺防线"之间正在艰难地突围。

Chinese literary creation in Europe inherits the tradition of elite culture which belongs to the overseas students in Europe in the early 20th century.Writers are of the scholarly'cultural elite',and it is very common that their quality and starting point is advanced.Because they are few and scattered,they have to be in the edge state,confronting the native cultural barrier in Europe.But the inferior position does not hinder the appearance of outstanding writers and classical works.Especially after the 80's of the last century,some Chinese new immigrants emerged,who have open visions and rich subjects.The basic tongue of their works is active and optimistic,and the narrative mode is varied.They are the new light spot in Chinese literary creation in Europe,which shows that Chinese literary creation in Europe is breaking out of an encirclement with difficulty between the Great Wall and the Magino line.
