论 述了 ２１世 纪对 图书 馆员 进 行继 续 教育 的必 要 性，介绍 了 图书 馆员 继 续教 育的内 容 ，针对 我国 图 书馆 员继 续 教育 的 状况 ，提出 了 应采 取加 大 投入 、进行 针 对性 培 训、运用 激 励机 制等 措 施来 加强 对 图书 馆员 的 继续 教育 。

This paper discusses on the necessity of carrying out the continuous education of the librarians in 21st century,introduces the contents ofthe continuous education for the librarians,and connecting with the presentsituation of the continuous education for the librarians in China,puts forward som e m easures for strengthening the continuous edu- cation for the librarians such as increasing the input,m aking the directional training,and adopting the m otivation m echanism ,etc.
