Discussion on the University Library and the Quality Education for University Students

在 阐 述大 学 生素 质教 育 的内 涵及 其 意义 的基 础 上，分 析了 高 校图 书馆 在 大学 生素质 教 育中 的地 位 和作 用以 及 所具 有的 优 势，从 加 强藏 书建 设 、营造 良 好环 境、提高 馆员素 质 等方 面提 出 了高 校图 书 馆开 展大 学 生素 质教 育 的措 施。

Based on expounding the connotation and significance of the quality education for university students,this paper analyzes the position,functions and superiorities of the university library in the quality education for university students,and puts forward som e m easures forthe university library to carry outthe quality education foruniversity students from aspects of strengthening the construction of the collected books,building good environm ent,and im proving the quality oflibrarians,etc.
