计算机辅助教学 (CAI)融入计算机多媒体技术、现代信息技术与教育科学 ,不仅具有容量大、速度快 ,处理和提供信息的范围广 ,而且还具有交互性和智能性的特点。利用文字、图像、声音、动画等各种手段为学生创造一个较为理想的学习环境 ,充分调动学生的视听等方面的感觉 ,使学生充分发挥认知主题的作用 ,提高学习效率。计算机辅助教学 (CAI)作为一种现代化教学技术应用于英语教学已彰显出无法比拟的优势。

Computer Aided Instruction(CAI) is to merge with multimedia technology,IT & educational science.It characterizes not only large-capacity,high-speed and infromation-processing in a wide range,but also the interaction and intellectual facuties.It can create an ideal circumstance of learning by means of words,pictures,sound and animations etc.It can fully play students' role of the subject-cognitive and raise their efficiency of learning.Obviously,CAI applied in English teaching has displayed its incomparable advantages as a modern teaching technology.
