本文试图从性格、思想、人生三个角度,重构刘光第的全息图像。分析了其性格中内向、孤傲、坚毅的特点,以及忍耐克制的理性色彩;以忠君、圣君贤臣、乐生逸身为切入,展现了其思想的旧学背景;描述了其在新、旧之间盘旋的复杂变法主张,以及具体参与百日维新的情况。从三者的缠绕中,揭示出刘光第的内在矛盾性,并将此归结于剧变的时代及普通人的人格,从而完成了对刘光第新的历史定位。
This paper reconstructs a holographic image of Liu Guangdi from three angles of vision——his disposition, ideology and life. The author analyzes the characteristics of Lifts disposition——introverted, aloof and arrogant, persistent, as well as his reasonable colors——tolerance and restraint; displays his background of the old Chinese learning in view of the traditional Chinese values of loyalty to emperor, of saint-emperor and able and virtuous courtiers, and of happy and leisure in life; discusses his complicated propositions of change of methods while vacillating between the new and the old; and expatiates his activities in the Reform Movement. The author brings to light Lifts inherent contradiction from these three aspects and attributes it to the age of tremendous changes and the personality of the average man, thus accomplishes his work of repositioning Liu Guangdi in history.
