民族乡作为我国少数民族居住的一种重要形式,由于其自身的特点,往往会成为我们民族工作中容易被忽视的一部分,尤其是我国广大中部地区的民族乡。本文在分析中部地区民族乡在全面建设小康社会宏伟目标的道路上所面临的利、弊因素基础上,提出了几点浅显的思考,以期能对我国中部地区民族乡甚至东、西部地区民族乡的建设和发展提供一些思路。
