在查阅大量文献资料的基础上,论述了开展群众体育运动与我国社会主义精神文明建设之间的关系,以及改革开放后我国群众体育的发展为我国社会主义精神文明建设做出的贡献。同时,提出我国群众体育发展中尚存在的一些问题和建议。

Based on sufficient related materials, the paper explores the relationship between thought on the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and the development of masses' sports after opening-up and reform, and works out some advices a-bout launching masses' sports in China.
