广州城市绿化的走向

THE ORIENTATION OF URBAN GREENING IN GUANGZHOU

根据国外发展经验和国内绿化发达地区的绿化经验,对广州城区改造提出了很多增加旧城绿化的方法,如预留拆迁用地做绿地,在新城区建设扩展中保持原有白云山高、珠江水长的形象,大力发展森林公园等。这样将使广州形成完整、连续的综合绿化系统,真正实现广州整体环境的好转。

Based on the experiences in urban greening both at home and abroad,the paper points out a new orientation in Guangzhou's urban greening.The rebuilding of the old sec- tion and the construction of the new urban area make it both possible and feasible to reserve land for building greeneries and forest parks in the city.The author maintains that Guangzhou should keep its image of'a city beside a mountain and a river'.And for this pur- pose,an integrated and unified greenery plan should be drawn out so as to improve the entire environment of the city.
