摘要
罗伯特·卢卡斯(Robert Lucas)于1937年出生在美国华盛顿州的Yakima。在二战期间，他的家庭移居到华盛顿州的西雅图。1955年他高中毕业，在高中阶段他在数学和科学课程上表现出很强的能力。他曾经希望去麻省理工学院学习工程学。
