The C^4ISR architecture framework defines a coordinated approach for the development,presentation,and integration of C^4ISR architecture.The framework provides the rules,guidance,and product descriptions for developing and presenting architecture.This paper first summarizes the evolutionary history of the C^4ISR architecture framework developed by the U.S.army.Then,state of the art in the research of C^4ISR architecture framework is presented.Finally,we introduce practical application of framework.
