By using arch-type critique theory to study the achetypes of Shakespeare’s Romance Tempest, the article figures out the corresponding relationship of the main content and the whole structure between the play and Genesis, which contains the Bible’s unique “U”narrative structure and impenetrate the movement of punishment and salvation emphasized by the Bible. The deep level structure conditions the characters’ action and the plot’s development. and shows profound metaphor meaning.
