Auto-tracing method in surface-wave dispersion curves computation

摘要 层状地球模型面波频散理论传播矩阵法采用传统的Knopoff′sroot bracketing算法求频散函数的根即相速度 ,并广泛应用至今。本文提出了一个自动追踪求根算法 ,使频散曲线的计算变得更为有效 ,方便和快速。 The propagator matrix method in surface-wave dispersion computation of plane-layered earth models, which adopts a traditional Knopoff′s root-bracketing algorithm to find the roots (or phase velocities) of dispersion function, is widely used even now. From another point of view, we present an auto-tracing root-bracket algorithm as a improvement on Knopoff′s root-bracketing algorithm, which makes the dispersion computation faster, more accurate and more convenient.
