On the Position and the Role of Chinese Culture for Teaching Chinese as a Secondary Language

21世纪的华文教育在世界各地蓬勃发展,在华文教育中如何明确中华文化的主导地位,以保证华文教育健康发展;如何培养学生学习汉语的兴趣,使之事半功倍;如何宏扬中华民族优良传统,使之在培养优秀人才中发挥作用,是非常重要的。这个问题,涉及到教学思想和教学目标的确定、教材编写、教师培养、教法研究等方面,希望引起有关专家的重视,以进一步研究和探讨。

Teaching Chinese as a secondary language will be robust growth during 21st century.Some Problems are very important for teaching Chinese as a secondary language.These include:how to clarify the leading position of Chinese culture in it so as to ensure its healthy development?how to develop students′ interest in learning Chinese language so that they will achieve twice of the results with half the effort?how to develop excellent tradition which will play role in fostering youths of talent?These problems involve the determination of thought and objective of teaching,the compilation of teaching materials,the training of teachers,and the deliberation of teaching methods.For further discussion,it is hoped that these problems will attract the attention of departments and experts concerned.
