本文从统一战线致力于中国特色社会主义建设事业的客观要求、加强党对统一战线领导的必然要求和不断巩固和发展新世纪爱国统一战线的根本保证等三个方面论述了学习“三个代表”重要思想的意义 ,强调要树立大局意识、政治意识、忧患意识、责任意识 ,努力开创新世纪统一战线的新局面。

This paper represents the significance of studying the important thought of Three Represents in the united front from three aspects: the objective requirement of building the socialism with the Chinese characteristics, the necessity of strengthening the unite front leadership and the basic guarantee of constantly consolidating the patriotic unite front in the new century. It also emphasizes that we should possess the consciousness of overall situation, the political consciousness, the suffering consciousness, and the consciousness of responsibility so as to initiate the new situation of the united front.
