In the interests of owners and from five aspects, the paper gives the answers to how to control the project cost efficiently. It points out that the design is the key, the bidding is the foundation, and the audit of project cost should be looked through strictly. According to the real conditions, some opinions and practical schemes are put forward in the paper, which will be helpful to the project managers.
