学生公寓集学习、娱乐、休息于一体,对学生德、智、体、美的成长能起良好的辐射和导向作用。学生公寓文化是学生学习的第二课堂,是校园文化的重要组成部分。江西东华理工学院领导层十分重视学生公寓的文化建设,对学生公寓文化建设提出了具体的原则,开展以思想政治工作为主的教育活动,组织丰富多彩、以活跃气氛、培养情趣、健身健美、增强体质等各类文化活动,达到与校园文化的整合。从中可以探究高校学生公寓文化建设的通用性、具体原则和主要层面。

College dormitories are characterized by the combination of learning,recreation and rest,and they serve as radiators and guidance stations.College dormitory culture constitutes the open classroom for students' learning and an important component of campus culture.The leaders of Jiangxi Donghua College of Science and Technology attach great importance to the development of college dormitory culture.They have put forward specific principles,conduct educational activities centering on ideological and political work,and organize rich and varied cultural activities,in a bid to integrate college dormitory culture with campus culture.
