女性意识的再度复苏发生于二十世纪七十年代末,新时期之初,女性文学沿着两条线索展开,一是对外部世界加以剖析和观照,一是对女性自身的内部世界加以审视和反思,在内部和外部的探索向纵深推进并交融互渗的过程中,新时期女性文学呈现出爱情、事业双重追求中的阻遏与困惑,女性行为、女性精神的双重异化,性与本能、性与道德的双重升华与超越等诸种表征。

Feminine consciousness revived once again in the later 1970s and in the early new period. Feminine literature developed from two aspects: the analysis of the outer world and the reflection on the female internal world. In the course of deepening interior and exterior exploration and mixing with each other, feminine literature of the new period presented frustration and perplexity in pursuit of love and cause, dual alienation of female behavior and female spirit, sublimation and exceeding of sexual instinct as well as sexual morals.
