Human's sense of alienation is a basic subject of the western modernist fiction.The famous English novelist Virginia Woolf began to probe into this subject in her short story Kew Gardens which is her first work to turn away from the traditional form.This paper discusses and analyses this subject in Kew Gardens in order to enjoy it with the readers.
