人类的现实生活包括公共活动领域和私人活动领域两个方面。公共活动领域问题的实质就是公共性问题,对公共活动领域的关注也就是对公共性的关注。尤其是从20世纪80年代开始,以通过政府改革来解决公共性问题或危机为标志的公共活动领域的当代转向,为当代政治学、公共哲学的研究提出了新的课题。
