According to statistics from the municipal government,retail revenue in Shenzhen last year reached 80 bollion yuan(US$9.67 billion ),up 16.3 per cent year-on-year.This figure accounts for almost two per cent of China's retail volume,which hit 4.6 billion yuan(US$553.8 million)in 2003.
