多年来，我国基础教育阶段的科学教育常被社会质疑。大家都有亲身感受，学生对科学的兴趣和天生的好奇性，随着科学知识学习的深入，非但没有得到促进，反而被大大地压抑了。这样的结果显然不能令人满意。症结在哪里?人们普遍归因于“应试教育”。如果真是这样，问题倒也好解决，因为这似乎只是一个技术问题。要么取消考试，要么改造考试。
