摘要
介绍了MPEG-1Layer3(简称MP3)和AAC的音频解码器在ASIC上的VLSI实现,部分解码使用了软件来实现。整个ASIC利用USB传输,并为MP3和AAC解码设计了专用的DSP结构。实现的算法中,根据硬件的特点做了很多有效的优化,并用Verilog语言编写。使用中芯国际公司(SMIC)提供的0.18μm工艺库进行了仿真和综合。
The implementation of an MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3)/AAC decoder ASIC in VLSI technology is presented. The software and hardware are combined in the design. USB is used for transmission, and a specific DSP structure for AAC and MP3 is designed in the ASIC. Its algorithm has been optimized for Verilog. Finally,the ASIC is simulated and synthesized with SMIC's 0.18 μm process library
