Research in recent years indicated that β-endorphin, an important neuropeptide to regulate GnRH secretion and menstrual cycle, is closely related with the physiology of female genital organs and pathology of gynecologic diseases. The paper sums up the effect of β-endorphin on gynecologic diseases so as to better understand its mechanism of action on diseases.
