Two portions of solution are taken from the same sample solution containing gold and silver. For one, gold is separated in 50%(volumn)HCl through column. For another, silver is separated in 5%(volumn)HNO 3 through column. Au Ag ions react with TMK in a HAc-NaAc buffer medium of pH≈3.3 and in the presence of OP. Au is determined at 550?nm . Ag is determined at 500?nm .
