论教育赶超战略与西部民族地区发展

On the Educational Strategy of Catching up and Its Development in the Ethnical Group Areas in Western China

文章从分析研究西部民族地区的具体情况出发,借鉴国际先进有效的做法和经验,提出了通过大力普及和发展教育,提高人的素质,开发和利用好人力资源,促进科技进步和经济发展的“教育赶超战略”。同时指出,实施好教育赶超战略,是我国西部民族地区全面建设小康社会的必然选择。

By analyzing the concrete conditions of the ethnical group areas in western China and by learning from the advanced and effective international experiences, this article puts forward that the necessary choice for us to build the ethnical group areas in western China into a well-off society in an all-round way is to improve popularization and development of education; to strengthen the quality of the people; to develop and make good use of human resources and to carry out educational strategy of catching up so as to promote the advance of science and technology and the development of economy.
