广西高专院校实施学分制的制约与对策

Restriction of Implementing the Credit System in Higher Junior Universities and Colleges in Guangxi and Its Countermeasures

随着我国的入世 ,教育的国际竞争日愈凸现 ,党在十六大报告中明确提出 ,教育是发展科学技术和培养人才的基础 ,在现代化建设中具有先导性、全局性作用 ,必须摆在优先发展的战略地位。高校教育要在竞争中立于不败之地 ,就必须丰富其发展的内涵 ,重新审视现行的各项管理制度 ,进行教学计划、课程管理、考试管理、学籍管理等方面的改革。然而 ,要使这些改革获得根本性的突破 ,在于推行完全学分制。当前 ,要在广西高专院校全面推行学分制 ,会遇上不少问题和困难。因此 ,必须更新教育观念 ,积极调整专业设置 ,加强学科建设 ,改进各项教育教学管理制度、措施 。

With China's entry to WTO, the competition of educ ation is more intense. It is pointed out in the report at 16th CPC national cong ress that education is of vital importance to develop science and technology and to train talents. University and college education can have its way out only th rough carrying out reforms in various aspects such as teaching plans, management s of curriculum, examination and roll. However, the success of the reform lies i n implementing the credit system. Yet, it is quite difficult for higher junior u niversities and colleges in Guangxi to carry out the credit system. Therefore, c onventional ideas should be changed and some reforms in construction of discipli ne should be deepened to pave the way for it.
