Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostatic Utricle with Epididymitis in Children

前列腺囊是男性胚胎发育过程中苗勒管和尿生殖窦退化的产物。在正常患儿中少见,而在尿道下裂及性发育异常患儿中常见。小的前列腺囊大多无明显临床症状,无需特殊处理;部分较大的前列腺囊有多种临床表现,常见反复泌尿系感染、附睾炎、血尿等,以附睾炎发病率较高。前列腺囊合并附睾炎的诊断和治疗策略仍需进一步探索。

Prostatic sac is the product of the degeneration of mullerian duct and urogenital sinus during male embryonic development. It is rare in normal children, but common in children with hypospadias and sexual dysplasia. Most of the small prostate cysts have no obvious clinical symptoms and do not need special treatment. Some of the larger prostate sac has many clinical manifestations, including recurrent urinary tract infection, epididymitis, hematuria, etc. The incidence rate of epididymitis is high, about 33%. The diagnosis and treatment of prostatic sac complicated with epididymitis still need to be further explored.
