Immune evasion characterizes most human malignancies and is induced by various mechanisms. Immunosuppressor cells, including Regulatory T cells (Tregs) and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), are key mediators that help tumors evade immune surveillance. This review discusses the role of Tregs in cancer progression, current Treg-targeting therapeutic strategies, and clinical pro-spects.
