Advances in the Role of Androgen Receptors in Breast Cancer

乳腺癌是女性最常见的恶性肿瘤,也是导致女性癌症相关死亡的主要原因。针对乳腺癌的研究和治疗一直是科研人员及医务人员关注的焦点,在这个过程中,我们发现雄激素受体(AR, Androgen Receptor)在乳腺癌中高表达,因此AR作为乳腺癌治疗的新靶点受到越来越多的关注。但是在不同类型的乳腺癌中AR的表达和AR信号通路是不同的,从而导致AR的表达在不同类型的乳腺癌中具有不同的预后价值。因此,我们将对AR在不同乳腺癌亚型中的作用以及乳腺癌治疗和预后进行论述。

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women and the leading cause of cancer-related death in women. The research and treatment of breast cancer has always been the focus of re-searchers and medical personnel. In this process, we found that androgen receptor (AR) is highly expressed in breast cancer, so AR as a new target for breast cancer treatment has received more and more attention. However, the expression of AR and the AR signaling pathway are different in different types of breast cancer, which leads to the different prognostic value of AR expression in different types of breast cancer. Therefore, we will discuss the role of AR in different breast cancer subtypes as well as the treatment and prognosis of breast cancer.
