Epilepsy is a common brain disorder characterized by abnormal neuronal discharges, resulting in functional impairments. Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis and localization of epi-lepsy, and PET is one of the important imaging methods. This article provides a review of the recent research progress of 18F-FDG-PET in epilepsy, aiming to deepen the understanding of the disease and provide references for doctors to make more accurate treatment decisions.
