Both Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome and Metabolic Syndrome can cause damage to cardiovascular, endocrine, central nervous system and other systems, and the most common and serious damage occurs in the cardiovascular system. Both OSAHS and MS significantly increase the risk of CVD morbidity and CVD-related death. The risk of CVD in patients with obstructive sleep ap-nea syndrome combined with metabolic syndrome is significantly higher than that in the normal population, which can seriously reduce the quality of life and shorten the life expectancy. Studying the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and metabolic syndrome will contrib-ute to the occurrence of cardiovascular events.
