The main symptom of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning (DEACMP) is cognitive dysfunction, which leads to the decline of patients’ ability of daily living and brings a heavy burden to patients, families and even the whole society. At present, the pathogenesis of DEACMP is unknown, and there is no specific treatment. Therefore, it has become the focus of clinical research to clarify the pathogenesis of DEACMP and find effective treatment strategies. The research shows that the occurrence of DEACMP is closely related to BDNF/TrkB signal pathway. Therefore, this paper summarizes the research on BDNF/TrkB signal path in DEACMP in recent years.
