Myth is a kind of way for the ancients to illustrate the complicated world and the ambiguous origin of humans. In Plato’s works, in the name of myth, he made the practice of education, and recom-bined and woven the traditional mythological elements in a way full of strong divinity and super-natural imagination. In the process of this reorganization and arrangement, the deity served as not only the tool for Plato to demonstrate the reality of his idea, but the purpose of his theory. Just as “God” has duality in Plato’s works, in the process of studying its connotation, we can get a better understanding of the theoretical tension and historical value in Plato’s thought only by going back to the specific historical context and starting from the study on the three aspects, that is, Plato’s di-lemma, mission and concept of the times.
