With the increasingly volatile international situation, historical nihilism is increasingly rampant, which is a stumbling block for the Chinese people in building socialism and realizing the great re-juvenation of the Chinese nation. The three key points of historical nihilism are to deny the guiding position of Marxism and the historical inevitability of China’s move towards socialism, and deny the leadership of the CPC. Therefore, from the perspective of Marxist philosophy, criticizing historical nihilism’s idealistic conception of history in the historical noumenon, agnosticism in historical cog-nition, and metaphysics in historical methods will help to clean up the source and create a healthy and clean socialist construction environment. Criticizing historical nihilism should achieve the goal of resolutely resisting historical nihilism and thoroughly opposing historical nihilism.
