“实体”被认为是西方哲学史研究中的一条主线。实体概念的演变史也象征着一般哲学的发展史。在不同的历史时期,哲学家们对于实体问题的阐释各不相同。从古希腊哲学到近代哲学,实体概念被不断丰富化却依旧禁锢在本体论视阈中,不断抽象化的实体概念鲜明体现着它的形而上学性。

“Substance” can be regarded as a main line in the study of the history of Western philosophy. The evolution of the concept of substance also symbolizes the development of philosophy in general. In different historical periods, philosophers have different interpretations of the problem of substance. From ancient Greek philosophy to modern philosophy, the concept of substance is constantly enriched but still confined in the ontological horizon, and the concept of substance is constantly abstracted, which clearly embodies its metaphysics.
