A Comparative Analysis of the Political Thought of Aristotle and Plato

柏拉图在《理想国》中勾勒的理想国家,与亚里士多德在《政治学》中描述的现实国家有很大的不同,可以说后者是对柏拉图理想国家政治反思的体现。但无论是体现政治价值的理想城邦还是基于现实的优良政体的选择等,两位哲学家都是立足时代的,都是对衰落的希腊城邦挽救、救治的体现,以上两种不同形式的挽救、救治,都有可取之处和闪光点。

The ideal state outlined by Plato in The Republic is very different from the real state described by Aristotle in Politics. It can be said that the latter reflects the political reflection of Plato’s ideal state. However, whether it is the ideal city-state that embodies the political value or the choice of a good polity based on reality, the two philosophers are based on their times, and they are the embodiment of the rescue and treatment of the declining Greek city-state. The above two different forms of rescue and treatment have their redeemable and shining points.
