Sexism and Intergroup Helping Relations have been topical issues in the spotlight of today’s so-ciety. This study used a questionnaire to explore the relationship between benevolent sexism and dependency-oriented help, and the role of psychological entitlement in this relationship. It was found that gender and dependency-oriented help had a moderating role in psychological entitlement and benevolent sexism, and that psychological entitlement had a masking role in the relationship between benevolent sexism and dependency-oriented help. Individuals with a high level of recognition of benevolent sexism were more likely to engage in dependency-oriented help behavior, but at the same time, higher levels of psychological entitlement led individuals to believe that they should be privileged and therefore less likely to provide help to other.
