变得更聪明:经皮迷走神经刺激术增强认知吗?

摘要 认知增强是指采用任何合法手段使健康个体达到最佳表现。近年来,经皮迷走神经刺激(transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation, tVNS)作为一种认知增强技术受到研究者的高度关注。既有研究表明,tVNS对认知的多个方面产生影响,并有可能在饮食行为和亲社会行为两个领域得到应用。未来可从丰富刺激参数设置、选取恰当测量指标、考量个体差异变量以及联合其他认知增强技术等方面改进研究。 Cognitive enhancement refers to the use of any legitimate means to make healthy people reach to one’s best. In recent years, researchers highly focus on transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS) as one of the cognitive enhancement technologies. Studies have shown that tVNS has impacts on many aspects of cognition. In addition, tVNS may be applied to adjusting the dietary behavior and prosocial behavior of healthy people. Future research should enrich the stimulus parameters set, select the appropriate measurement index, consider individual differences and combine other cognitive enhancement techniques.
