MTI学生“用英语讲好中国故事”的认知与能力调查研究

摘要 国际传播能力建设对MTI学生“用英语讲好中国故事”的能力提出了更高要求。本研究基于半结构化访谈,对MTI学生关于“用英语讲好中国故事”的认知与能力进行调查。结果表明,受试者对“用英语讲好中国故事”的认知和情感认同较好,但存在中国文化素养欠缺、讲好中国故事实践机会缺乏等问题。文章从课程设置优化、实践平台创设、师资队伍建设等方面提出建议。 Emphasis on strengthening China’s international communication capacity requires that MTI stu-dents develop their ability to tell China’s stories well in English. Based on semi-structured inter-view, this study explores MTI students’ perception and assessed ability of telling China’s stories in English. It is found that participants exhibit desirable cognition and positive attitudes;nonetheless, they acknowledge their lack of knowledge concerning Chinese culture and practices in telling Chi-na’s stories. Suggestions are offered in terms of optimizing curriculum design, creating more prac-tice platforms and cultivating more qualified teaching professionals.
